Makadi Golf Course, still under construction, is located South Hurghada. The first 9 holes will be ready by June 1st 2007, while the second 9 holes are expected to be finished by November 1st 2007.
The championship course is designed by John Sanford, a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and a licensed Landscape Architect since 1981. His design skills have most recently been showcased at Granite Links at Quarry Hills, Taba Heights Golf Resort, and The Links at Madison Green.
Makadi Golf Course is an 18 holes par 72 championship golf course, 7500 Yards (6860 meters) length, with 5 tees options.
The course includes an academy area, featuring 6 Hectares Driving Range, 9 Holes par 3 courses, 3 Regulation Length Practice Holes (PAR 3, 4 & 5), Golf Academy providing state of the teaching facilities for all levels of golfers, as well as a snack bar, a two level open terrace overlooking Makadi Party Area.
